ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Rick Dramm

WHERE I COME FROM
My story is one of deep-rooted American values, hard work, and a lifelong commitment to family, entrepreneurship, and community.
My grandfather was a first-generation American immigrant from Germany who built a life as a commercial rose grower. During the Great Depression, he kept his business alive by growing and selling roses to funeral homes for memorial services—a testament to resilience and ingenuity that has inspired generations of our family.
My father embodied service to his country. He enlisted in the U.S. Army right after high school graduation and served honorably in Okinawa during World War II. My brother continued that tradition of military service as a United States Marine.
Following in the footsteps of these strong family examples, I graduated from Michigan State University and immediately entered the floral industry as a wholesale distributor. With my father's financial support, I purchased a small distribution company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that started with just four employees. Through dedication and smart growth, I expanded it to over 200 employees and $23.6 million in annual sales. In 1998, I successfully sold the business to a publicly held corporation. After staying on for two years to ensure a smooth transition, I launched my second career in real estate.
I relocated to Henderson, Nevada, where I thrived as a real estate agent. I flipped homes, listed and sold properties for clients, and renovated houses to build my own rental portfolio. My entrepreneurial spirit traces back four generations—from my grandfather's rose business to my own ventures.
In 2020, my wife, my youngest son, and I moved to beautiful Tellico Village, Tennessee, a peaceful retirement community nestled along Tellico Lake. After retiring from full-time real estate, I sought ways to stay engaged in local conservative Christian causes. When I couldn't find an existing group aligned with my values, I decided to start my own. What began as a small weekly coffee group of five or six like-minded individuals grew into a thriving network. Today, it boasts over 2,000 members dedicated to conservative principles.
I never intended to step into the political arena—I always believed my role was to support those who sought the spotlight. But that changed when I saw county government blatantly disregard the will of the people and show a complete lack of civility toward its constituents. I stand proudly to uphold the conservative values of my heritage, and I am committed to working hard to honor and serve the citizens of District 7.

ROTATE THE CROPS
It's time to rotate the crops in Loudon County government. I pledge to work hard, change the
tone, and serve as a vigilant watchman over taxpayer dollars. I hope to earn your vote and meet as many of you as possible to hear your concerns in the coming months ahead.
